Engineering Overview & Workshop Fabrication
Fabricated at our dedicated Central Workshop & Fabrication Yard (Birulia, Dhaka), Mak Tek Engineering provides complete turnkey design, rolling, welding, sandblasting, and on-site crane erection of heavy Mild Steel (MS) storage tanks and pressure vessels. Built to ASME Section VIII and API 650 standards, our tanks serve as mission-critical reservoirs for industrial fuel, heavy furnace oil, chemical effluent, and massive water reserves.
Manufacturing Capabilities at Birulia Central Yard
- Heavy Plate Rolling & Forming: Capable of cold and hot-rolling carbon steel plates up to 25mm thickness into circular tank shells, dished heads, and conical bottoms.
- Certified Welding Excellence: Welded exclusively by our in-house certified 6G pipe and pressure vessel welders using automated Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and SMAW processes.
- Rigorous Non-Destructive Testing (NDT): 100% radiographic weld inspection, ultrasonic flaw detection, dye-penetrant testing, and prolonged hydrostatic water pressure leak verification.
- Advanced Surface Treatment: Commercial grit/sandblasting to Sa 2.5 standard followed by multi-coat high-build epoxy primer and polyurethane UV-resistant finish.
Comprehensive Heavy Rigging & Erection
Mak Tek deploys our own hydraulic mobile cranes, certified rigging gear, and field erection crews to assemble large-diameter vertical silo tanks and horizontal fuel reservoirs directly at client site foundations across Bangladesh.
