The POWER PLUG compact sandwich busduct trunking (BBT) system replaces bulky, high-loss multi-core cable bundles with an ultra-compact, energy-efficient, and fire-resistant power transmission spine for modern industrial manufacturing facilities.
Advanced Sandwich Technology
- High-Conductivity Copper / Bimetal Conductors: 99.99% pure electrolytic copper (Cu-ETP) conductors tin/silver-plated across their entire length to prevent joint oxidation and minimize contact resistance.
- Superior Thermal Performance: Compact sandwich design without internal air gaps ensures rapid heat dissipation through the all-aluminum / electro-galvanized outer housing.
- Class F / Epoxy Insulation: Halogen-free, Class F (155°C) high-dielectric multilayer polyester / epoxy film insulation capable of withstanding extreme electrical surge spikes.
- Plug-In Flexibility: Plug-in tap-off openings at regular intervals allow quick installation of MCCB tap-off boxes without shutting down the entire factory power line.
Engineering Design & Installation
Mak Tek provides complete turn-key 3D BBT routing layout engineering, short-circuit withstand calculation (ASTA/KEMA certified up to 120 kA), seismic spring hanger installation, floor-penetration fire stop barrier sealing, and on-site micro-ohm contact resistance testing.
